Larry, as most of us knew him as, was killed in Quang Tin Province, South Vietnam, on November 22, 1970. His tour in Viet Nam started on September 28, 1970. He was a Private First Class and was a Light Vehicle Driver. His name is listed on the Wall in Washington, DC., Panel W6, Line 77.
Mike and I found his name on the wall in Washington, DC. We were determined to find his name as he had been Mike's best friend at Galt Elementary School before Mike's family moved to Herald. It was a truly sad and moving moment to find his name there as prior to that we did not know for sure.
Thank you for the information Anne. I was surprised when I saw it added here a couple days again because I thought he had died in Vietnam. I looked for his name on the wall when I was in DC, but I could not find it. I am happy you guys found it.
